Supplements to Promote Better Sleep

As a lifelong light sleeper and a mother since the age of eighteen, achieving restful sleep has been a recurring challenge for me. Periods of waking up in the middle of the night, unable to return to sleep, have left me in a fatigued state the following day. Sleep disturbances, particularly among women post-forty due to hormonal changes, are common. Fortunately, I’ve discovered a combination of supplements that aids in promoting better sleep, steering clear of the drawbacks associated with traditional sleeping tablets. 

Here’s my recommendations to promote better sleep!

  • Apigenin:
    • Known for its relaxing properties, aiding in sleep induction.
    • NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide): Boosts relaxation and helps regulate metabolism and circadian rhythm, particularly important as NAD levels decline with age.

Since incorporating this supplement regimen into my routine, I’ve noticed improved sleep quality. While early wake-ups for the school run remain a constant, I’ve found that on nights when I’m not fully asleep, I can maintain a relaxed state instead of succumbing to the temptation of doom scrolling on my phone.
